I'm not sure about the recoil factor but Magna Port of Michigan cuts little slots near the muzzle that eliminate muzzle jump. This is how I tamed my .308 rifle.

I'm a huge fan of the Yamaha Royal Star. It features a big V-4 liquid cooled engine that is smooth and powerful. Exhaust notes sound like a mean growl. Riding position is very comfortable.

I always wanted a 358 Norma MAG. Had a Springfield action re-barreled for it and it kicks bad but I love it!

I've hunted bison and Asian buffalo with this custom rifle. Both were one shot kills using factory ammo.

I shoot this load in my Glenfield carbine as a single shot. In 2005, I toppled two South Dakota antelope with this outfit. For my deer hunting it's a toss up between 44MAG Ruger carbine or 30-30 carbine. Both are excellent tools for the job where we hunt. Shots rarely exceed 75 yards or so. This remarkable bomber was introduced in 1952 as I recall. We had a squadron of them at Wurtsmuth AF Base, Michigan when I was stationed there in the 1970's. Headed down the runway they sounded louder than thunder.
