Interesting, I've never seen one of those. There was a High Grade, which had a coon on the left side, with a coon dog on the right.

There were the "YBL" prefixes for the .22LR and "YBM" prefixes for the .22 Mag. Then there was also a different run with the F753XXX prefixes for .22LR, not sure if there were any .22 Mags in this series, but I think so. I just don't have any details on why there are two differen...

Now I see a Yellow Boy 22Mag on GunBroker sold with a "Buy It Now" for $1795!!!!! Lord have mercy!!! :D

I see someone has put in a bid today for $1550 on one of those Yellow Boys for sale on GunBroker! Holy sheep dip, Maynard! A fool and his money are soon parted! Appreciate the offer, rodeo kid, but not looking to sell anything at this time. I might add that there are several Yellow Boys for sale on GunBroker, all priced in the stratosphere, like those you are looking at, but aren't getting any takers, yet anyway. I know that my local dealers will check GunB...

They have apparently greatly increased in value recently. I have two Yellow Boy 22LR's, both NIB, for which I paid $900 per each, about two years ago.

I've been looking at a Marlin 1894 Cowboy Special in .44 Mag. It is a short 20" octagonal barrel, straight stock, no checkering and has the cross bolt safety. It seems to be in almost perfect condition, except I suspect the buttstock has been refinished, as the finish on the buttstock is dull, ...
