OI beat me too it. I give each one a shot of Ballistol spray before I put away. Then, before use, I use an alcohol soaked patch/q tip to degrease. Also give my shell holders the same treatment. You have your bases well covered New Pig Hunter. Love them Big Bores and Trappers! The BB's have always seemed a cut above, at least among post 94's. Here is my Big Bore with my son's Marlin 336 "Texan" in 44 Mag. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b96/CCash/DSC_0254_zps7d5a9b3b.jpg

Nice little rig! I love the single shots and the short ones are very handy.. If you do choke system it will be even more versatile. I had my H and R done like yours and put a Colonial arms full choke for turkeys. Would like to pick up a cylinder for slugs. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b96/CCash...

Levers and Cast Bullets...does it get any better? I will never understand the racks upon racks of synthetic modern rifles, lined up and looking like a bunch of cloned storm troopers. Wood and blue in a classic, proven American rifle will always do it for me. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b96/CCa...
