OI beat me too it. I give each one a shot of Ballistol spray before I put away. Then, before use, I use an alcohol soaked patch/q tip to degrease. Also give my shell holders the same treatment. Alan Harton is The Dude! Been lucky to have had him work on 2 of mine. He has alot of crazed SA dudes bugging and begging him for "one more" though so no doubt his hands are full, but it's still worth a try.

Nice little rig! I love the single shots and the short ones are very handy.. If you do choke system it will be even more versatile. Very nice rig and fox Nath. I like that a lot. Piller...it is amazing how our ancestors ate isn't, without a 7mm Mag? I am not an accomplished hunter like many of you, but I was very impressed with the performance of both bullets above on Texas Hogs. That slow moving 265 gr. .432 Ranch Dog was going...

Thank you Brothers. It is a Cumberland Rifleman's Knife and supposedly a Kit knife with a Solingen blade. It will shave like a razor. I would like to have Rob Leahy make a scabbard for it. Rifles are 336 Texan in 44 mag. and Win. Big Bore 94 in 356 Win.

Levers and Cast Bullets...does it get any better? I will never understand the racks upon racks of synthetic modern rifles, lined up and looking like a bunch of cloned storm troopers. Danny.....yes, in Danang 72-3. He was in the 366th TFW "The Gunfighters" as they called themselves as they would mount mini gun pods to the bottom fuselage of the Phantoms. Thank you for your service, and all here who served!

Nope....holding back more than usual Blaine. I shot the Bearcat almost a month ago. It was so cold that I literally started to freeze my fingers and could not shoot anymore after a couple of cylinders. The last time I shot for real was in preparation for our Texas Hog Hunt last fall. :oops:
