Every once in a while I scan Gunbroker just looking at the going asking prices of various leverguns.I was looking at the M-71's and almost fell out of my chair.Prices are out of sight :shock: Prices ran from $1400 to $4500 with most in the $2000 neighborhood and up,up and up!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought one the last time they were on sale. I sent it back.
The one I had would not weigh to the next 1/10 gr.In other words,if I had a load at 25.5 gr and wanted 25.6 gr it would skip to 25.7 gr.or the reverse.It could have been a quirk of that scale,I don't know.I did not try another one.

Sounds like the load I posted some time back.That load shoots great in 2 of my M-71's.However ,I used CCI Mag primers.

My Vaquero with SN 55-873xx required the cylinder fix. My other Vaquero has an earlier SN which also had the same problem.

I have an older stainless 2" Rossi in 38 SPL.Very comfortable to shoot,rock solid and have never had any problens with it.Good little gun for the money.
