Very cool. I had no clue there were moose in Colorado. I need to get out more. They started the modern moose season about 20 some years ago. IIRC a friend of mine accompanied a friend of his on the first modern day moose hunt in Colorado. That would have been in 1985 I believe. If you want to be in...

Re: Should we: Stay here or Go back ...
I like the open format of this temporary forum, and the regular forum. However I have to say I like this format better. Instead of the stickies and maybe a half dozen threads on the first page like we have on the regular forum, here we have many threads. I find it much easier to browse and monitor ...

Re: Image Posting: Suggested Pic size?
What's the generally accepted size for posting pics on this forum? I'd like to share on this forum. Regards 640 X 480 will do. So will 800 X 600. The smaller size works OK on older VGA machines, but most folks today have the capability of viewing the larger size. And some of us can view full size 3...

Red Sox Win in a shutout!!! Well, I figure it's best to stay on good terms with the wife. She's never shut me out, well there was that one time but she claimed it was an accident. And I don't think that the color of my socks had anything to do with it. IIRC I was wearing good ol' Hanes gray work so...

RED SOX!!! [/b] Is this part of the "Wear Red On Friday" political thing? And why red sox? (most folks spell it socks). A red tie would be easier to match things with. A red shirt could be worn with jeans or slacks or even shorts (if you've got the legs and weather to pull it off)...

I believe the vet should not have tampered with someone else's flag. He has the right to fly his own flag at his house or from his car. Well, the way they had it rigged, he HAD to mess with their flag to get his flag out of a bad situation. If they didn't want their flag messed with they shouldn't ...

That's a pretty good question. We do seem to have a lot of WTS, WTT, WTB, threads and they do get spread out a bit. I guess you know you can rechamber that .30 BH to .32-20 and shoot cowpincher ammo in it. The lead bullets swage right down and it shoots great. I didn't realize NC was so backwards with its permitting system for handguns. Long guns don't require paperwork.
