And Noah and some would say while you have this screw out that you should file or grind it off till it doesn't touch the barrel when you reasemble it(free floating the barrel type thing)!

I've got an original 1929 Model .410 Marlin lever, but would never use .410 slugs in it, or .45 Colt either! Why not just buy a Model 1894 Marlin in .45 Colt if you want to shoot .45 Colt? I have one also and .410 slugs 2&1/2 inch work just fine! It has little value to hunters just like the Win...

Wow you guys have some really beautiful guns,my favorite is my 1890 in WRF,and a nine shot revolver made for Western Auto in 1950(it's a revelation mod 99)and get this it's Ser# is 1950922.

And the Ithaca Mod 37 and the Winchester mod 12 were really light weight and as easy as they were to carry,they kicked like a bitch! Nice collection for sure,and I have a Marlin that looks like the secound one of your rifles(93)that is in 410 guage.

No barrel marks or such just on backstrap says Marlin 410,and under the lever a 1822.
