I recently procured a Winchester 1886 Takedown in 33WCF. It's in great shape with a Lyman 21. I've got a few questions I'm hoping y'all can help me out with. When did Winchester stop stamping "Model 1886" or "Model 86" on the 1886's upper tang? This one has "Model 1886"...

Thanks everyone! I did email the Cody Museum and unfortunately my rifle falls just outside their serial number records.
