Re: Tang Safety Question
I believe the 1895 Winchester built by Miroku and labeled “Winchester” wer first equipped with tang safeties around 1995. I had one before the year 2000. Mine was 30-06, but I saw identical rifles in .270 Winchester I only have electronic copies back to 2001, and looking again, it appears that the ...

Forgive me for asking a question that I am sure has probably been posted many times before. But I have searched and can't find the answer. What year did Winchester/Miroku start putting the tang safety on lever action rifles. And did they appear on all models at the same time? Thank You I can narrow...

I seldom record how many times I've reloaded any cases... except in the case of one .30-30 rifle I have... It's a custom built winchester 94 of 1978/9 vintage that I bought cheaply from a dealer. I had a shop install a Numrich barrel (26" full octagon) and then fitted a Fajen XXX fancy stock wi...

After the Speer "Flying Ashtray" my favorite 45 bullets are the Lee .452-200RF and .452=250RF. In their 6-gang molds they'll produce a lot of bullets quickly. They have the same nose length & profile; and feed like butter thru both my '73s,1860, 1892 and are equally at home in my SAs. ...

I wonder if your rifling twist would be off for this light a bullet and this velocity? It was designed to shoot 220 gr bullets more accurately but I think it’s just great for all coppe...

My first revolver as a deputy was a mdl 10. I then got the loan of a nickel mdl 19 and carried it for a number of years until the owner wanted it back... didn't need it until she got a new job and needed a .357 revolver. I replaced it with a new mdl 65 about 1986 and carried it with two departments....
