Here in Missouri we are beginning to see more cases. Actually 2 years ago I had the privilege, so to speak, of taking the first confirmed case of CWD in Barton County MO. This was the first year they'd begun testing in our county. Since then they've had more cases. Not sure about other's experiences...

I've had cataract surgery done in both eyes, the first about 8-9 years ago and the other 3 years ago. I now have 20/20 or better vision in both eyes but do have to wear readers, which to be honest I had to wear prior to the surgery. I've had no issues and am glad I had it done.

I learned to drive a standard on my Dad's 1957 3/4 ton Stepside Chevy. 283 V-8 with "3 on the tree." We had it around as a spare vehicle for many years. It looked nowhere near as nice as yours but I sometimes miss that old truck.

I spent this season with my Winchester 94 in 375 Win. Despite seeing a number of deer I ended the season empty handed. My go to load, which has accounted for deer in the past, is 30 gr of Reloder 7 over 265 gr cast Lyman GCFP.

I have an old FWB 124 in .177 that runs in the 830-850 fps range and kills squirrels and rabbits cleanly. It prefers JSB Exacts at 8.44 gr. In my humble experience, faster velocities gets you flatter trajectories but if the shot is well placed it really doesn't matter.
