What I'm having great difficulty understanding is why any American can vote for her. This female is against everything the United States stands for.
One term of her as president will likely destroy this country. And her supporters will not see this.

So well all better keep sending the words out, otherwise ........ :x

Junior's right.
The quotes are out of context, some more than others.
Here's a link.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/clintons/marxist.asp
She still sounds socialist to me, but what do I know.

Now lets take a look at what she has to say about gun control
Lots of stuff out there. I just grabbed a few.

http://archives.cnn.com/2000/ALLPOLITIC ... index.html
http://www.ontheissues.org/Hillary_Clinton.htm
http://www.bradycampaign.org/facts/scor ... php?ssr=NY

OK, now I'm confused.
Why would anyone that owns a gun vote for this person?
Seems to me she's intent on picking away at the 2nd amendment till there's nothing left.
If that makes me out of step with the "Majority of Americans", so be it.

Here's y'all some quotes which will go down in history.

1. "You're doing a heck of a job, Brownie."

2. "Mission accomplished."

Canonsix, I'm also an "American Vet, 64years old, Christian, drive a pickup , own guns and vote for the PERSON that most ,or at least lies about it ,mirrors my belief system." But that PERSON sure won't be a Republican.

The poll I'm talking about is the election booth. In the last elections which party did the majority of Americans give control of the Senate and the House?

I can't put my finger on them, but we ditched some worthless Rebublicans for some decent dems and replaced some liberal dems with some more common sense ones.........Republicians didn't so much vote for Dems, but against Repubs.......Junior, your local good old boys might be fine, but nationally, they are gonna take your guns. Now, I know your answer is "what guns" but what fun are they if you can't put one in your pickup window and cart it around, or wear your .45 in the woods? I'm not ready, yet, to jump in the foxhole, so I'd just as soon have mine legally, please  You might be surprised what I agree with you about, but the gun thing is how I'm gonna vote....

Hey Guys,
I didn't post this as a pick on Junior post, I really didn't. We should all realize this is a free country and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. In fact I'd personally like to say that I have a great deal of respect for Junior. He stands up for his belief's because they are his belief's even when it not popular on this forum. In my book that takes a lot of character.
A lot of what Mrs. Clinton says and believes really scares me. What scares me even more is that what Junior says is true, A lot of the American people are in favor of what she says. That puts the will of the people over the rule of law.
I did hear on National Public Radio that 52% of Democrats polled would not vote for her. I don't know where that poll was taken or under what circumstances but I did hear that.

If you read what Hillary Clinton says, IN CONTEXT, and apply it to historical fact. You will see that she is a text book COMMUNIST by Karl Marx standards.

This woman is completely wrong for this country. She would have fit in perfectly with Nikita Khrushchev.

I am not a vet, I am not yet in my 60s, but I am not blind and out of touch with our Constitution either. This person if elected will severely damage, or destroy our country within her first term. This I firmly believe.

And nobody's picking on Junior. Matter of fact I agree with him on several points, just not Hillary or the Democrats.

The NRA called me last night saying she has already raised $25M
in only a few months.

I could only afford to give $50 and I did. I also will be giving the NRA
$50/mo until she is defeated!

Lets get every NRA member to do the same!

Junior - if Hillary represents what the majority of Americans want and/or like, then I will gladly be out of step. No amount of spin from her handlers or the MSM is going to change the fact that she is a card-carrying communist, if not openly, in her heart for sure.

Thanks for posting that, mac45. I looked for it, but didn't find it on http://www.truthorfiction.com and didn't have time to do a snopes search. It does our side of the debate no good to base ourselves on out of context quotes. The stuff she says IN CONTEXT scares me bad enough. Junior says he's afraid the Constitution will die if a Republican gets in next term. Well, I'm CERTAIN it will die if the likes of Klinton get another chance at it. And it will be the fault of the "conservatives" who didn't know how to use their majority in both houses as well as the presidency to turn the country back to the straight and narrow.

As far as Klinton being in step with the majority of Americans, probably she is if you take the literal meaning of American to mean one who lives in the Americas. That'll take you from Tierra del Fuego clear up to Nanook of the Northland. However, her views are NOT in step with the heartland. And that's what I care about. Look where generations of US citizens have been raised in the same county raising the same crops and you'll see solid values still. It's in the cities where folks have moved away from the land and where they've lost touch with the values that made the US a great nation that you'll find supporters for her socialist agenda.

We need to counter her not with out of context quotes but with ideas that have proven themselves through the generations. It's time to take our land back to self sufficiency rather than dependency upon Big Brother. And that means from Corporate America on down to the lowliest of the welfare children. We ALL need to learn to stand on our hind legs and live the best we can with the resources God gives us.

So pick on Klinton all you want, but don't stoop to twisting the truth like the left so often does. That's where the AUC went wrong here - they imitated the tactics of the left and became what they fought against. We don't need to go that route at all.

Here is the major point - which side will follow or can we control/influence to our view. Obvious - the Republicans. The dems will go the other way and be controlled/influenced by the liberal anti gun crowd and your word will mean NOTHING!

This clinging to the dems in my opinion from what I have heard here is largely a hangover from the Civil War. It makes no sense any other way. Junior would not answer my question which I posed and others repeated.

The one thing that I KNOW she said that scares me the most is what gives insight to the rest of her objectives.
When Exxon announced a large earnings quarter recently Hilary got up and said, "If I'm elected I'll take that money and use it for research." The thought that she feels like she has the ability to "TAKE" profits from a successful business just because they are successful is a terrible thought.

The context of the quotes you listed is STILL food for thought. The idea of "robbing the rich to give to the poor" is a stupid idea. Always has been. Always will be. Just as stupid as taking from the poor to give to the rich. The gov't had no business going outside the constitutional authority permitted to it in order to garner votes via pork barrel projects. And the dems are pork barrel pros, not that the elephantine party is that far behind them anymore...

I grew up in a Democrat household, both Mom & Dad. When I came of age to vote I went Republican, Richard Nixon was in the White House. I have been a registered Republican ever since, although I would swing my vote to a deserving person. I have often voted split ticket in local elections, depending if the persons stance agrees with mine .

This election year I'm voting on three issues: Gun rights, abortion, and homosexuals. All of the Democratic candidates fail. So far all of the Republican candidates, with the possible exception of Fred Thompson, look very bleak. The front running Republican "Rudy" is against guns, even though he tried to convince otherwise in the recent NRA speech. "Rudy" is pro-choice (for abortion )to me abortion is murder with very limited exceptions.. And, pro homosexual, The Bible says being "queer" is an abomination and sin and I agree. Therefore "Rudy" bites the dust. I don't trust McCaine, nor Romney. I don't know enough about Thompson yet to make a decision. For the first time in almost 40 years I may not vote for a President.

My folks brought me up to stand on my own two feet. Been knocked down a time or two, and am still standing. When I got out of the service, I was told that I qualified for welfare; so, I went and stood in a line... for about 3 minutes. I decided then and there, that I was able bodied, capable of doing most any job, and when I started school two weeks later on the GI Bill, I was washing dishes. Then fired me because I was taking too long to do it right, (don't eat @ a Shakey's), and got a job bar-tending and haven't been unemployed for more than a week or two since. (Good advice I was once given: Never leave a job till you have the next one lined up.)

I'm 57, a vet, and a conservative liberal (or is that a liberal conservative?). I believe in welfare for the truly needy. I haven't met many. But, they are out there. I believe in personal choice, neither the Dems nor the Repubs have offered that in the vast majority of their stands on issues. New Hampshire has the best logo in the Nation, "Live Free or Die," truly wish more Americans understood and embraced that ideal. I was taught that to vote for a party line was a waste of my freedom of thought. I'll not let another think for me. For as long as I can remember, my Dad has been registered as a Republican and my Mom as a Democrat. During the primaries each has voted for the person in either party that either stood for what they believed in, or against the candidate that stood the best chance of defeating their preferred candidate. I don't necessarity agree with their logic, but it does have a certain... "Équilibre."

Neither Party (nor the Libertarians) have ALL the answers. And, quite frankly, they are part of the problem, not the solution. So I certainly couldn't bash Junior for his politics, and will defend his right to express them at the drop of a hat. Just let me know where, when; dueling pistols @ 25 paces. :P
