Interesting lever at gun show

Post by Thunder50 »

Wish I had a camera to take a picture. It was an 1886, in 45-70. Now add deluxe checkered wood, pistol grip, shotgun buttstock, lightweight barrel, "climbin lyman" sight (21), takedown version and probably 60% condition. Guy said it was worth about 15K. Beautiful gun. Thought it was a 71 at first glance, but closer look said it was something unusual.
