Their center sucked before and it's just slightly better after they updated it...

Oh it works for me, I just hate the fact that I have to turn my phone sideways to see all the information.
Since Alliant has decided to kick us reloaders to the curb I've given up on them.

Re: Hogdon reloading center
I checked this morning and it's finally back working but, like most others, this new iteration doesn't hold a candle to the old version.

Re: Hogdon reloading center
It is working for me at the moment -- I needed a load with W244 for the 40 S&W and got my starting load nailed. Also got info on a bunch of other powders and bullets so am really good to go for a couple of new acquisitions from AIM Surplus that arrived yesterday.
I initially hated the "new" Hodgdon site until I finally realized (after some really frustrating experiences) that every box I checked reduced the amount of data I got. Now with that realization I think the new site is superior to the old.
You do need to check at least a few boxes or you'll quickly get more data than you have computer paper.

Earl , I found out early , caliber and bullet weight then enter, works good.Or just caliber for that matter.
How do you like the win 244 , I have using it for upper mid level loads and like it , I better I’ve got six lbs on hand.

Re: Hogdon reloading center
Well you were way ahead of me if you figured out the site early on. It took me several frustrating visits before I discovered that "less is more" and that the Hodgdon site has reams and reams of data on lotsa' lotsa' powders.
So yeah, I bought a jug of the W-244 after reading about how its velocities were so consistent. At the time I was thinking it would be great as an "igniter" in my duplex loads. But it is too fast burning for that application (which I didn't realize at the time, needing to see a few case separations to figure it out). I do love the ease of metering of a ball powder and it gets the nod for all my 40 S&W and 45 Auto loads. Of which I don't shoot all that many but have a son and 3 grandsons who shoot those and who also utilize my components stash. Burned a batch yesterday and the tin cans ventilated quite satisfactorily for as little handgun shooting as I have been doing.
