Before and after

Post by Bill in Oregon »

Just received those Altamont stocks I ordered a month or two back, and I am quite pleased with the fit and feel compared to the black plastic OEM stock on the Super Wrangler. Now if the wind will just lie down I 'll go shoot the thing. 8)

Look nice Bill.
One of these days I need to make a pair of grips for my BH41, the aftermarket brass frame is a bit larger than the stock aluminum frame - unsightly gaps. Ah, who am I kidding I don't mind the gaps!

It's nice of Altamont to include three grip screws of varying lengths. The original Ruger screw was just short, but the Altamont medium length was perfect.

Me too. I think half of my handguns aren't wearing their factory grips. :D

Bill - I really like the sets of Altamont grips I have. Yours look really sharps!

This is probably my favorite set:

Just the insets, but loved the pattern. It is a Ruger GP-100 in .44 Special.

Jay,

Those grips do really dress up the gun and those speedloaders are just plain snazzy. Very Nice!

Very nice Bill. Have you had a chance to shoot that over a Chrony yet?

Horsesoldier, I might shoot it tomorrow. Winds should step back down out of the 20s and 30s to the teens.
Nice grips Jay!
