They stood their ground, and unlike the 'triggered' snowflake-crowd, they ARE 'tolerant' and ARE 'inclusive'. The ones who tried to force them to bend to their will should be ashamed.
If it would have been me in charge, I'd have just 'agreed' to use the shirts provided, then as soon as the dance routine started, had the dancers all take them off. I suppose the 'L' part of the LGBTUVWXYZ crowd who was 'offended' would have gotten the wrong message at that point though...
