Have always been curious about the 99 in 22HP.
An auction house within driving distance to me has nine 99's in the next auction one of which is a 1974 uncatalogued 99F Series A in 358 Win.
There are other F's.
I have the R. Reynoldson book.
They don't describe the uncatalogued features, or is this just the final run of 358?

Well I don't know what was special about it, but the hammer price was $1,900.00
$500.00 more than any other 99 so far.

Dang, that's steep. I was hoping you'd have gotten it.

Well somebody must have thought that baby was pretty special!

I am conservative in bidding on items and not knowing what made it special isn't something I'd bid on.
Somewhere I read about uncatalogued 99's but can't find the reference.
I think it was a 358, a rare cartridge in the north east but it made someone's day!
