And for you youngsters out there, this is not about PFDs ...
My favorite was and still is Butter Rum. I never could get enough of them as a kid. Man, when you got impatient and just started crunching them down the burst of buttery goodness was nearly overwhelming -- nearly as blissful as biting into your Tootsie Roll Pop and getting at that chocolate center. In second place, Wild Cherry.
We often got the Life Saver "books" at Christmas time. Such good memories. So many cavities ... 😂

Butter Rum was my favorite. Once I opened them, I would eat the whole pack. Then orange or grape (preferred). Lemon was good.

Wild Cherry or Tangerine

But the kids once slipped me a tangerine-colored "Harry Potter Funky Flavored Jelly Bean" once that was PUKE flavored!

Yeah, I went to college -- I know that flavor......................... :roll:

Jelly Belly makes the very best jelly beans but they make some horrendous flavored ones too!
I eat the black licorice ones first! :D

I liked butter-rum but then out-grew it and shifted to citrus flavors. There was a drugstore in the county seat that sold all of the flavors as single flavor rolls. I usually chose a roll of lime.

I remember one of the tropical fruits ones - maybe it was canteloupe...??
Butter Rum and Cherry close seconds though.

The best were the Reeds Cinnamon ones though - the old version looked like big red blood cells.

Any flavor Life Saver... but In order of preference... Wild Cherry, Butter Rum and Coconut, that last always reminds me of first girl friend's suntan lotion...

Bill, I'm with you on the butter rum! However, I can't even remember the last time I had any! It's been decades though. :shock:
