Nath, please remind me of your equipment. IIRC you're shooting a 4.5mm pellet, right? What profile/weight are you using? And this is out of a low powered airgun, not one of the recent "Super Magnums" that are all the rage on the west side of the pond, right?

Yes AmBraCol. 12ft/lb 177 round nose pellet out of a Wierauch HW95. Probs close to 800fps.
( Thats why I laugh when I hear folks rabbling on about how important ft/lbs are)

Well done Nath! I have a Wierauch also, mine in .20 and 16 ft-lb. I am pleased very much with your continued success and reports on the fox front. I wish I could use my pellet rifle in this state for taking game.

Nath,
When I was touring your wonderful country for several weeks, I had a farmer up in Scotland tell me that the length of British civilization had created a breed of Fox which is known as the City Fox, which have weakened jawbones due to eating soft foods out of the city garbage. He told me that the jawbones are so weak in fact that it is impossible for them to break a chicken leg bone in their jaws....so I'm wondering, was that just BS or is it fact??
