Cartridge Type Quiz - Whathamacallit ?

Post by Pete44ru »

This one has NO provision for a centerfire primer, nor a primer pocket.

Sorta looks like one of those pencil cartridges. Pull the bullet part out and turn it around, slip it back in the case and it's got a pencil sticking out.

Didn't the military have some sort of cartridge where the primer was not visible? I am trying to remember the name for what I am trying to describe, but if I am not confusing it with something else it is in the case head still but it looks like the bottom of the cartridge is flat brass, but there is really a primer under it.

It's a cartridge-shaped, nickle-plated, brass oil bottle, with a dipper-type applicator.

Cool :D

Fill it full of Hoppes and use it for a perfume applicator.
