My 73 and 66 are not short stroked. But I have seen some of these and Miroko appears to be making a factory competition short stroke marked under the Winchester brand.
Is there any disadvantage to a short stroke setup on a 73?

Scott,
Type the following into your Search engine.....'mechanical issues with CAS short stroking an 1873'.
I found this during the review of the results. https://forums.sassnet.com/index.php?/t ... erti-1873/
I had heard through the years that --- the need to continue to 're-tune' or 'check often' the rifles functioning was necessary, to keep it running appropriately.
