The Marlin 32 Special strikes again. Although had a fail to fire with a Federal cartridge earlier that morning, they are getting an email...

Congrats on the buck! Hate those FTFs... I use Winchester primers, and usually, I can't pinpoint the exact cause well enough to blame the primer...

I have a 32 Special. It is wanting to go.

Factory load? They should indeed get an email - and should respond!

Nice Buck, nice picture. That reminds me of back in the late 80's my buddy had a Marlin in 32 Special. He killed a lot of deer with it, as well as me with my 30-30 Model 94. I moved up to a BLR in 308 and he got one in 30-06. We stuck with our Lever roots.

it was a factory load that failed to fire, just dented primer. No problems in the past, no problems sighting in, and there was no problem when I shot that buck.
I sent an email, will see if I get a response. Never had a problem with any Federal ammo before, rifle or shotshell.

but my misfortune paid off by shooting this bigger buck about 30 minutes later.

.
I don't have a 32 Special but I do have a 35 Remington, and I feel guilty that I'm not planning on taking it out this year.
