.
Quite a few women I know are interested in firearms and capable of shooting them well but wind up not having them on their person because it is inconvenient and conflicts with their fashion.
I am completely oblivious to fashion so I carry what I'm going to carry and let the 'fashion' suffer the consequences.
But I know women pay more attention to such things and it is sad to think that some of them wind up with their health and safety suffering the consequences.
This lady seems to have found one way around the issue.

You'd best be careful dating women these days ... I mean, putting your hands in certain places could give a new meaning to "premature discharge" ....

My wife tried various ankle and thigh holsters and found them universally uncomfortable and sloooowwww. She has found several hip and shoulder holsters that work for her. She also caries off body.

For many years, my wife has carried a Smith 442 with a set of Barami Hip Grips. This allows her to put the revolver anywhere in her waistband or drop it in a pocket or purse, depending on how she is dressed.
May not be the answer for everyone, but it's what she has found works for her. That old 442 shows some serious wear, and has thousands of rounds fired.

"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.

On Instagram, Laura Longenecker posts hunting pictures. She also recently posted a short video of her taking her kids out, and lifted the front of her shirt up to show her concealed handgun. A few trolls posted stupid stuff, but a bunch of positive comments were posted, too.

Mostly they just need to keep trying different holsters until they find one that works. Too many give up and go unarmed.
The modified-garment holsters often work. I've got some RN patients who sew in a pouch to their scrubs that fits the little Ruger LCP. The 'under-dress shorts' the one lady demonstrates look doable.
I modified a cowboy boot while in med school so I could be armed while on campus and walking to my ghetto apartment in the wee hours. Just split the inside seam and stitched in a pancake holster. Carried a Charter Arms Bulldog that way, without having to risk putting it in a locker if called in on a surgery. Scrubs dangled over it just fine.
