Another thing, it's impossible to get a Yes, or No answer from one of them.

One thing they will never tell you because they want to keep it a secret is that the one thing that makes all electronic devices work is smoke. If the smoke leaks out, it won't work again.

Was replacing the blower motor on my F 150 and unknowingly had a high impedance air gap which resulted in the 4-wheel drive no longer functioning. Checked fuses, relays so on couldn't get it to work. Looking at parts on Rock Auto saw a picture of the control module then my two brain cells collided, sure enough if you unplug it it won't work.

Wait... wait... aren't engineers just the guy at the throttle of a train? Not terribly complicated... whereas I have a steering wheel and multiple gear choices and other traffic to contend with...

In most plants, engineers are the guys who make all of the cutesy signs for the safety campaigns.

If you think driving a train is "not terribly complicated" you've never been anywhere near the cab of a locomotive. You probably don't understand the difference between speed an momentum and have no clue how centrifugal force works.

Trust me... I wouldn't want to be anywhere near one of those behemoths coming down a grade... and yes, I do understand all that...

Two Surgeons were talking. First one said: I prefer to do surgery on Engineers. Open them up, and everything is numbered and color coded.
Second Surgeon said: I prefer automobile mechanics. Not only are things numbered and color coded, but they understand if you leave a part out and it things don't work right the first time.
