Awesome Lenn. Something tells me you are a fun grandfather. Lots of cool toys!

Wife and I have been playing with the grandkids for the last week. Another to go. We are having a great time, but they run us ragged! :D

Being a grandparent is a great responsibility. All too often the generation in between is too busy trying to survive to make sure they educate their children about the real world and history. Sometimes only a grandparent can make things like that relevant by relating our personal experiences.

Looks like Pitchy is up to the task of combining fun and education.

I've known many grandparents who failed to take enough time to be with their grandchildren, and what time they did spend was not influential enough to keep those grandchildren from growing up to be snowflakes. One of my friends had one of his grandchildren wind up in jail for theft, and he's working on straightening him out since evidently the parents weren't able to. When he was talking to me about it he said it didn't stress him out nearly as much as if his kid had grown up to be a successful liberal.

Thanks, every time they come over they tell Grandpa you sure make neat things, old things that are stuff from the past.
If they don`t get in with the wrong group i think they will do alright, the boy is a smart whipper snapper and love mechanical things.
Tough world out there so fingers crossed. :)

Nice to see, kids can learn a lot more out of school than in it... :)

Sure could have used those phones yesterday while deer hunting in a black hole of cell service!
Lenn those certainly are handy things for around the property. Do you have plans of setting up a network?

Nobody to talk too, Norma and me are always together but i think it would be cool to string out about 200 yards of wire and chat.

Very Cool Pitchy ! We couldn't have the phones here thought. when all four grandkids are here ,it's mayhem , they would use the wire to tie me up in a chair and light my feet on fire. it's just like the house in Overboard. .

Made a couple noise makers for them though they aren`t to interested in most this old stuff but they can see how lucky they are to have what they have.
