Very nice Lenn, you and Norma sure make a great team....

Very nice work, Pitchy.

That's ingenious, and well made too, you must have Viking blood Lenn.......

Cool, I've often wondered about how effective a "Jailers Key" as I think they are called, would be

Would be interesting , by what i`ve read they would shoot through the key hole if things got out of hand.
Must of been some big jail door locks huh?
Will see what tomorrow brings.

Thanks Nath, oh heck i`m nothing special we just go out to the shop and try to make something that works.
No way should i be compared to those that make stuff that`s exact replica`s of objects.

Today we made a padlock that dates to the Viking era.
That is awesome Pitchy!
I recall my late father having something like that in his lock shop, that he got from his dad; but it got stolen along with some cash, a couple of original Colt revolvers and a few other antique locks many years ago. We also had a couple of brass blackpowder .22 and .32 caliber 1-shot "Jailer Key guns", just like this one:
Jailer Key Gun.jpg
And yup,
those were also stolen...

Thanks Darrel and Bill, that`s a nice looking key pistol.
We got started on one today but it`s going to be clunky compared to that one.
