1894 Winchester SRC and a story

Post by Walker »

Always wanted an old 1894 Winchester src and brought one home today. The outside is pretty worn, but the bore is bright. Made in 1910 and came from the family that inherited Emmett Dalton's estate. The local shop tried to tie it to Dalton but there's no paper trail. Good story though.

You never know....like you said, a cool story...!

I think it's more likely to be the stamp of a local or state agency. Thanks,

For its age it looks good to me, have one made in 1911 but its a 32 special, its story is that it spent 50 years in several
sheep herders wagons & pretty much looks like it too but the bore is good & shoots well
Your story has way more class!!
