Springtime

#1 Post by jnyork » Fri May 11, 2018 3:36 pm

So, yesterday here in Lander WY I worked most of the morning on my lawn, got too hot so I quit for the day. k

Today, 52 degrees here in the valley with cold rain, snowing in the higher elevations.

Typical springtime in the Rockies, run the lawn mower one day, snowblower the next.

Put me in mind of one of my favorite old songs from my youth, maybe some of you older fellers will remember it and enjoy it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVy3imcHrQM

.

It's been running in the middle 70's, afternoons, here in Southern New England - which has caused a sudden bloom in motorcyclists......

The rain has let up a bit, but it's still chilly. Didn't stop me from turning off the propane stove and opening the windows, though. I did have the little space heater running in the bathroom this morning's shower :P :P
It's supposed to be sunny and quite warm (for around here) next week.

It has been cool around Dallas. Only about 88 degrees. Was only 80 last night when I got out from work at 10:30 pm. Beautiful cool weather for that part of Texas.
