I have just found out that my 38 year old Niece who suffers from Huntingtons had been sending money to a person she met online. She was warned that it most likely was a scam but took off to met them last week. She was driving in Virginia and was pulled over by the police and placed in the mental hospital for evaluation for 5 days due to her poor driving skills and her body jerks caused by her illness, and they released her because while they found her impaired they said she was sane. They refused to return her drivers lic and her car is still impounded but she has dropped from the face of the earth. She hasn't answered her cell phone and walked away from the hospital with her two little dogs that she had with her with no ID.
She is a very attractive women but obviously has issues and I fear for her safety.
** She called home and was still in Virginia so her dad and his brother drove down to reason with her thinking she would come home. While she still has no drivers lic the police let her get her car out of impound and drive away. She will not return home and believes the person she sent money to loves her, and is driving sans lic to Tenn to find them. The police told her father they would arrest him if he forced her to go with him and her uncle. Its a crazy world we live in! She said she lost her cell so her dad bought her another and told her to call daily.
If you feel lead to please continue to pray that she will return home safe. Her sister told me that her and her father having been discussing trying to get the court to give her a trustee and stop her from driving. Its a hard thing to do though but this has brought the need to try to do that to a head.
