Savage 2400 with european style stock

Post by barbarossa »

Image

I bought this recently a savage 2400 with a european style stock. The stock and forend match and the fit of the butt is perfect so It makes me wonder if a different version of the 2400 was being sold to the European market. The rear sight is different also as it doesn t have the ears of the standard version.Overall I prefer the stock on this gun with the prince of wales type grip and hog back comb it gives it a touch of class

Me likey ! I had a CZ-527 Lux (.22 Hornet) that had a European stock like that, and just loved the fit/finish.

My nice new CZ550 FS 6.5x55 has the Euro hogback stock . It isn't the best for scope use unless you wanna put some of that tacticool cheek riser c...r...a...p on it !

So I have no cheek weld it's more like a chin weld LOL's ! But it shoots very nicely with my handloads so what the heck !
Parkers , Mannlicher Schoenauer’s , 6.5mm's and my family in the Philippines !
