muddy girl

Post by gundownunder »

Anybody know who makes the muddy girl gun stocks.
I've got a 13 YO granddaughter I'm trying to entice into the shooting sports and I reckon I could sell her on the idea of a BL22 with muddy girl stocks. Especially since her mum sells fingernail patterns and the muddy girl pattern is already available so she could co-ordinate her nails with her gun stock.

What's our sport coming to

If you look at the way the young target shooters decorate their rifles, you realize that they are looking at things differently than we did. No problem with that from my perspective. As long as they are shooting, who cares?
With all of the plastic, fiberglass-stocked, firearms on the market now, I don't blame them for wanting to break up the monotony. We always had some nice wood to look at, and maybe some engraving on shotguns to look at. There isn't much of that around on new guns these days. Let her shoot what makes her happy.

Until I saw this post I'd never heard of a "muddy girl" stock or gun, so I googled it to see what it is. I like it! And I'm a 70+ year old man, so it's appeal is not limited to teenage girls. OK, so I probably wouldn't have it done to any of my guns, but I can sure see why somebody would.

Looks kind of like the camo that has a fluorescent orange background for safety purposes. Only it is Pink.

Hey now, let's not drag Taylor Swift down into the mud.

I guess the owner of the copyrights to 'Hello Kitty' isn't amused though....

Maybe if I sent this link as to why I like the 'Kitty' theme, they'd lighten-up a bit....
