Happy First Day of Spring!
Hope spring has sprung where you all live!
I know the temperature dropped down here last night, and folks in the northeast are facing the possibility of snow!
But spring is in full swing here in the southeast. Everything is blooming. Pollen is out in force too! Oh well!

Kid, spring sprung here weeks ago. Daffodils are already about finished. Had a frog in our water feature this morning!

Yep, in Portland. Supposed to rain all week. Good thing I'm headed east on Tuesday.

Just another sunny summer day in SoCal. Temps in low 80's. Been this way for weeks, not much winter this year.

Re: Happy First Day of Spring!
We had 86 or 88 degrees last week, tied a record, but will be 32 tonight in NW Louisiana and 70 plus tomorrow.
This goes along with the 27 inches of rain in Monroe in addition to the rain supposed to start Tuesday or Wednesday.
Friends potato crop which was up several inches washed down the hill to the railroad tracks along with his several rows of Tomatoes last week.
Police are writing $488 dollar ticket for driving around barricades.
Pollen is very heavy so far.

First Day...
I'm calling BS on that!!!
2 hour commute this morning, versus 55 minutes typical, with 6" of snow on the ground and wet/slippery conditions. Plus, it was a c-c-c-c-cold weekend too.
But I refuse to use the snowblower... It will melt...
Someday..........

Here in southern Kentucky the frogs have been out since late Feb. this year. Now most of our trees are getting ready to sprout leaves. Did have a cool weekend and start of the new week. Kid have you ridded yourself of the bug finally. Mine is still hanging on some.

Almost 30 years ago, my first "summer" (a very generous interpretation of the word) in Michigan, my wife planted flowers Memorial Day weekend.Old No7 wrote:First Day...

It snowed 2" 3 days later.
Granted, it was gone in a day, but it was just the principle of the thing!
You know you live someplace cold and snowy when it takes the parking lot piles of scraped snow and ice until mid-June to finally, fully melt.
Not a problem here in SC!
