UPDATE ON TWYLA

Today was Twyla's 1 month post-operation visit with the doctor. He said the uterus was 10 times larger than normal due to fibrous tumors and that she had a cyst in the lining of the uterus. ALL OF THE BIOPSIES WERE BENIGN! Thank you Jesus! After examining her and talking with her he said she was free to do whatever she felt like she could do!! We told him we would be traveling to Africa and he said, "Next Friday?" We laughed and said no .. somewhere between the middle and the end of March and he said "I believe you will be in good shape for the trip."

Our short-range plans are to travel to Austin sometime this week .. probably on the weekend. We will spend some time with Lane and Jami and let Twyla continue to recover her strength. Then we will travel home to Pemba.

THANK YOU!! to all of you who have been praying. We seriously appreciate your prayers. And THANK YOU to those of you who have supported us in many different ways during this time. We are indebted to you.

Please continue to cover us with your prayers. We are serious when we say "We need them!"

Nice, such great news.

My wife has fought with fibroid tumors since young. They are terribly painful.

If she turns meaner than a snake just be patient and take her back to the doctor to adjust her hormone dosage. :wink:
