Alert - Homeland Security has lost a few guns, badges, etc

Post by JohndeFresno »

DHS has apparently lost a few guns, badges, and cell phones since 2012.

Could be. I wonder if they'll have to start profiling "agents" - checking for accents? That many purloined ID's, guns etc. will supply an army.

Since they can't even determine whether a person is a US citizen or not, I suspect they can't find their posterior with both hands.

People lose stuff.

But... since we are talking about federal cops here, I'd guess that any usable credentials were sold or traded to known terrorists and criminals in exchange for money, sexual favors, or some other personal gain.

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

I occasionally see a guy that works for the government. Don't remember what kind of agent he is. But he was telling me how one of the female agents used a public restroom and left her sidearm laying on the tp dispenser. Can't remember if it was there or not when she remembered what she had done. Don't think she lost her job either.

Maybe doubles as an lighted anal probe so they can spot any errant badges etc.
Shame on me.

Yep.

Try posting a notice in the newspaper that you lost your AR-15, and see how long it takes for the 'authorities' to find a reason to charge you with a crime... http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/01/28/so ... tion.html?

If a mere citizen (aka 'perp-until-proven-otherwise') lost that kind of stuff we'd be charged with a crime of some sort...

Badge is still where I left it and they never issued me a gun. Not it.

Those South County guys were all flaky anyway... Even the North guys that transferred down there!!! I doubt the intervening 25 years has improved things!!!
