It's just not that hard..
Even if they took away all the files, hacksaws, drills and sanders Tomorrow, we'd have new guns (of some type) in the loop within 2 days...

If I were president I'd make the new job of the ATF to provide those plans to every household, along with assistance if needed.

The most socially stable nation, and ultimate 'democracy' (in the good sense) would ensue. 8)

Provide?

They are available to anyone with the intelligence and balls to aquire them... without cost...

Yeah, but I do like the good doctor's vision of a government that encourages (no, requires!) individual citizen's responsibility, as envisioned by the founding fathers, as opposed to the modern nanny state that wants to regulate every aspect of it's subject's lives!
