I first saw US Marines in Portsmouth England, they were very professional and extremely smart, I was impressed.
I wish them all the best and thank them for their service.
Whatever you do always give 100%........... unless you are donating blood.

The Marines are the finest sort of gentlemen. My different units were often tasked to provide ceremonial support/music for them when Navy/Marine support was not available. They always treated us like one of the Jarheads. The Navy guys were just as nice. I can't say the same for many of the Army units we supported.

You're always on your best behavior for other services... except when on liberty... then it's all the name callin' and fightin' a feller can stand!

Happy Birthday JarHeads!

I did a three month advanced NCO course at Little Creek, VA.....I can tell you for a fact that nobody was safe when the SEALS all came en masse for a few dozen beers.

We had our Birthday Ball on Thursday. Kind of sad it was my last one as I retire this coming summer.
