Fellers, does anyone know the best place to go to buy some Marlin replacement stock and fore ends? I'm not sure if I want to go with a 'stock' stock or something upgraded a bit. Does anyone have any good idea's/websites to go look at?
I bought a really nice early '50's 336 .30-30 with a 24" barrel and the stock has been carved on a bit by someone with too much time and a sharp pocket knife This would be my chance to put something nice on it!
About two years ago I needed a stock for a Marlin 1894. I ordered one from Gunparts. It fit great, had some grain figure, and required next to no fitting. you might be taking more of a chance with them but I had good luck.
