I had dinner with him tonight and we are planning a meat hunt in October for cow elk and whitetail doe. I plan some pix and a hunt report after that (assuming we score some venison).

Are you guys hunting out of state or over in Rockwall?

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Fred
Send me an email and we can discuss. We could use another hunter.

Did all the troubles get worked out? I never heard what they were.

Steve,
It is not my place to say whether another person's troubles are "all" worked out, but in this case I can report that good progress has been made.

IMHO, sometimes life seems like a series of problems and then you die. Fortunately, it is possible to mix in enough good times to forget most of the bad times.

I understand you cannot speak for somebody, I would probably be the same. Whatever it was hope 86er can drop by and say hi. Good to hear 86er is ok and not dead from some weird disease, lol.

Clearly, it's painful, and private for him. And/Or, he, too, has chosen to move on from the campfire.....Either way, I pray for the best for him.

No.

It did scare the you-know-what out of me, but crs has recently had dinner with 86er, and it wasn't in a graveyard!

Prayers still going for you Joe!

86er is definitely a member I would like to have back!

Maybe the Mods can close this. I don't want to bring up any hurt to any member here, I think those involved will understand what I am saying.
Prayers to you Joe & family, and may you be able to make things right.
