2015 Independence Day Wish

I'd like to wish all here a safe & happy Independence Day tomorrow (July 4), especially if they're travelling !

I know most Americans are thankful for the sacrifices out forefathers made, some 240-odd years ago - I surely am.

Please be safe. With gasoline prices being much lower than this time last year, a lot of people will be on the road. The holidays are always dangerous for those who travel.

Down here in SC we'll be launching a few fireworks to commemorate the 239th birthday of our country - safely, of course! :D :D :D

I get a nice call every year from the Fire Marshal and constabulary requesting that I spend the day on a Fire Truck and nowhere near my lab...

This is STILL the best country on earth, and I'll be celebrating this evening with The Department of Washington American Legion Band as we play a two hour patriotic concert, followed by fireworks.
