Kodiak Photos
Before I headed out to Dutch, I was in Kodiak. The photos aren't great, I took most just with my phone while working.
View out the window from where I was living.
View from my office cubicle.
Same view, different day.
And another day. My office cubicle.
Morning after morning . . .
Shipwreck Cove.

Thanks for the pictures. I have been reading the 4 book Highliner series and your posts with pictures help bring the area alive to me. My wife says I can't visit there because she thinks I will stay. I'm trying to figure out if that is a bad thing or not.

All the stuff you see scattered across the tide lines are crab shells.
To put this in perspective, this shows about 15 feet of height

Thanks, had some pretty tough times this winter, and then little access to barely working internet out here.Rusty wrote:Glad you posted, I was worried about you.

Re: Kodiak Photos
My son was on Kodiak for three years in the Coast Guard. Met his wife ( also CG ) and was married there. They are in Virginia now as he has Cutter duty. They both can't wait to get back up there.......and I don't blame em!
"Oh bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round.
