I like this guy...except I would not use a "whoopie cushion".......good ole Griff would get the real thing.......fried onions, broccoli, hard boiled eggs, cheap beer, deer jerky, hot dogs....then a bottle of seltzer water to be used as "propulsion". :D ------6

Ha! Sounds like the Greek salad I had to day with Gyro meat, raw onions, Romaine lettuce, pepperchini's, olives, tomatoes, bleu cheese and the works and stuffed grape leaves. Love it, but not so easy on the old digestion! Wouldn't do that to ol' Griff as he is my friend! Haha -Tutt

Tutt,
Your wrong....a good friend always welcomes the aroma from his pal. :D

This is for real.....this story was told to many people, many times, and the words were always the same........my BIL, who was 15 years older than me, and who is now deceased, told me some years back that he was hitch hiking back in the late fifties, and a guy pulled over to give him a ride. While in the car, the driver asked Joel, my BIL, that he would give him $5 for every fanny burp he could come up with.....big money in those days......well, Joel could not deliver.......they even stopped at the Birmingham Grill and he ate a huge bowl of beans..........an hour later, he still could not deliver.......so, the guy let him out of his '49 Pontiac and while Joel was walking home, he told us he had enough gas to blast him home, two miles away.

This is one of my favorite stories, proving that there have always been weirdos in our society.----6

Got a shirt, hat, a spare firing pin (per suggestion by BrentD), and the sight... blew the heck out of $500! Almost left me with enough to buy dinner! Now to decide on the #112 or #113 front sight! How much windage could one need at 1,500 yards?

No rush... but you might figure that multiplier deal out!

As I just figured out how much windage I'll need at 1538 yards with a 10 mph crosswind.... Either I'll have to get the $300 front sight with windage... or I'll be holdin' off about 10 MOA plus all the new rear sight has! What's funny, is even the Soule doesn't have enough windage that amount of cross!!! So even buying the Soule sight wouldn't get me enough by itself. And this sight is simpler, and doesn't have those big "barrels" hanging off either side of the tang. I find my fat thumb has enough trouble getting around the tang without those added protuberances!

Out there at the end of the barrel this won't be in the "way"!
Image

A little range time... and I should be in shape for the Billy Dixon... even if I probably still won't hit the indians!, or their horses!  Even if I'll have to practice at 1400 yards... max range I have access to!

Oh Jeeze, I guess I am in the strange, inexplicable place where I get along with the both of you. Dang.

I refuse to take sides here guys.

Your own personal relationships are just that-your own. As are mine.

While there may have been some times in the past where I ruffled some feathers here, I know we are all brothers and in my hour of need I could call upon any one of you and find a good friend.

We may disagree at times, but when the chips are down, we do support each other. We are all part of a sometimes dysfunctional family, but when things go south and we need each other, we will always be there for each other on this forum.

That's my own take on the situation, but I think it is true. We may disagree on small stuff but a better group of guys on ANY FORUM, ANYWHERE, you will not find.

This place is my favorite forum of all time. The Harley forums are much more hostile.

This is the finest forum I know and the people here too.

Regards,
