Picking up my elk in 3 weeks..
I mean....I'm picking up peppered jerky, country sausage, burger, and steaks.... . As soon as the animals were on the ground, the snow storm hit. By the time we got the animals quartered, dragged down thru the brush and deadfall, loaded, and got back to the 4 wheelers, there was several inches of snow covering my rifle that was left up on the 4 wheeler. Then the 4 wheeler quit about halfway back to the trucks, so we towed it in the rest of the way. I was soaked and frozen when I got to the processor we like. Ahh, good times!!
