Just bought a 10/22 in SS. the standard config. with barrell band .The plastic stock is ok but not quite right so I ordered
a M1 carbine conv. stock for it and a set of peep rear with winged front post sights. Anyone here do this? Looks like a great
adaptation of the 10/22!

I seem to recall that Ji did one a while back and it looked great.

I've also see someone selling a Tommy-Gun stock set up for the 10/22!

The link to Ji's thread
Not one of the after-market M1 stocks, but he sure did make it M1-like.

Thanks that is truly an interesting 10-22 mod. I have an older carbine and through a gift got a Timney trigger for it. This interests me much more than the usual 10-22 mods. Many of them are very Star Wars or must really add weight and upset balance with big glass and big bull barrels.
This has a classy look and my idea of a military 22 "look a bit like" mod.
