On getting older....

Post by TedH »

From a friend.....

During a long day of looking around Cabela's, a couple of my friends and I stopped in at Hooter's for some Hot Wings and drinks.

After being there for a while, one of my friends asked me which waitress I would like to be stuck in an elevator with.

I told them, "The one who knows how to fix elevators."

I'm practical, old, tired, and have to pee a lot.

stuck in an elevator listening to the inane banter of the typical 19-23 year old girl? Thats reserved for torture in some countries

Although interesting side tidbit, --- the CEO of CinnaBon is a former Hooters girl --- she helped turn that place into a near billion dollar company --- so i shouldnt stereotype too much

I'm not that old yet!!! Give me another 20 years or so, when I am in my 80's. But then again, Grandad still had an eye for the ladies, even in his 80's!!!

You're right about that!

My friend that told me that is a no nonsense, retired Sheriff that I used to work for, and that sounds just about right for him though.

I doubt you could get her attention away from her cell phone (yes, Candy Crush works with no cell signal)

I think about 3/4 of the female population under 30 would die if cell phones were suddenly no more. And probably half the males too!

The way women are today, I'd be scared poopless if I was stuck in there with a young lady and no one else around........she would probably make up a lie and say I tried to rape her to collect 20 g's or so....with no thought to the 10 years I'd spend in the big house.----6

I'm claustrophobic. Being stuck in an elevator would be a problem for me no matter who else was there.
