Greetings
Good looking knife ! That is the kind that would make me right proud to carry about. I like the use of those old chunks of steel. It automaticly has that been there "used look".

I like it too. Perfect design and execution to my eyes.

A big old long 'instructional' post on how you did it would be cool...

Well I took the old crosscut to my neighbor had it sand
BLASTED I just freehand the pattern I want cut it out with my plasma cutter take it to my homemade 72 in belt sander slick up the profile oh leaving arat tail tang yes tapered 3 to 4 one 8th holes in the tang flat ground leaving the pits toward the spine of the blade starting with 80 grit belt then 120 heat beyond magnetic draw if I didn't say that right a magnet won't stick then quench in warm oil then do a soft draw back to a straw color then grind with 220 grit then 400 polish blade cut gaurd mill out the slot put on tang drill horn put pins in the holes of tang for reinforcement epoxy the horn grind the gaurd with 3quarter round rock slick everything up and polish. If this lesson dont make sense or sound right I really aint no teacher probably a few misspellings hope yall like it and thanks for all comments and by the way when I do the soft draw back the cutting edge is in demonize water

Well, that ain't exactly a "long" how-you-did-it post, but it sure spells it out clearly. THANKS...!

I can almost imagine trying it myself, even though I'd probably manage to mess it up royally.
