More than a dollar short. More like 50,000 of them short.

I'm proud of Henry Repeating Arms for this donation. I also appreciate the fine engravers in Trumbull, CT that worked on the rifle and the High Bidder - who wishes to remain anonymous. The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the main benefactor of the proceeds. One day (in the distant future) when I can get my personal challenges settled I will support Henry by purchasing another of their products. I'd like the 357 Magnum Big Boy or a 22 Magnum lever or Accu-Bolt rifle. I feel it is an investment in conservationship and gun rights as well as a product that is backed by the manufacturer.

That is a beauty. I sure do like my Henry .22 carbine, and even with it being one of the most reasonable models the fit, finish, and walnut are just excellent.
