Then I tried to remember the last time I had only one center fire rifle.
It's been so long I'd have to check my records to find out.
So just for fun, does anybody here have only one...........
I've got several times more than one.

When I had only one, that was what I had.BlaineCGarverakaTubbyTuba wrote:I can easily remember when I did.....The Marlin 1895GS....Six years ago......I was perfectly happy, they I started hanging out on Lever Boards and got corrupted by You People....
Same here, around 73 to 75 or so I had just one at a time, anyway. but later on around 78 or so, I usually had at least two, and for a few years I only kept a Remington 700 in 270 win and a Marlin 336 in 30/30. I would often aquire a third but usually ended up not liking it for some reason and trading it off for the next experiement. At least I got to own and try lots of rifles over the years, but found many lacking for one reason or another, and always kept the .270 and the 30/30, until I got a Browning BLR in .308 and it has been my go to gun ever since, but I still keep buying others to play around with. Some I keep, and some leave after a while.Hobie wrote:The last time I had only one centerfire rifle was 1973. It was a levergun.
Jeremy - I know you also have a muzzle-loader from your previous posts, but can't recall if you have a rimfire. That would solve the rabbit tear-up problem!Saloon slug wrote:I got 1 lever and 1 bolt for center fires. The lever is a 94 trapper in .45colt and the bolt is a No4 Mk1. I have a bunch on my wish list but I have yet to come across any thing that those two won't handel. They do tear up rabbits some thing bad though.![]()
