I just love Lyman #1 sights

I just love Lyman #1 sights. They are just the nicest little pieces of machinery.

On my Rem Model 25

I wish the Marbles sights were marked for elevation like that.

Have you shot it yet?
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

250 Savage... its what the 223 wishes it could be...!

Not with the Lyman. I shot most of a box of Rem HiSpeed with the scope and they shot very well. I didn't even have to adjust the scope for a 50 yard zero.

If it will ever quit raining, I'll go out with the Lyman and some 115s over 5.5gr Unique.
Kind regards,
Tycer

Do the Layman tang sights have an internal spring like
the Marbles tang sights?

I've never had a Marbles. The stem is held in place by what looks like a spring steel sleeve on the neck. There are no click adjustments.
