Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Thanks Terry. I was about to post this but actually thought to check and see if someone already had.
This has been a long hard battle. Barbara Kelly was an amazing woman who fought through quite a few afflictions, but who was always loving, kind and cheerful when I spoke with her. I talked with Paco last week and at that time he knew the end was near. He had been taking in her in for treatments and medical help nearly every day for the last couple years.

We are praying for comfort and peace for the family. Barbara will be terribly missed.

Thanks for sharing that.

I never met the gal but I'm betting she was one of those fundamentally smart and beautiful women who are out there, and seem strangely attracted to those of us who are of the 'levergun' mindset. As Louis L'Amour would say, I'm sure she was "one to ride the river with".

Prayers up for Paco and kin, and a reminder to not forget the joy they surely had in knowing her and sharing lives with her. Women like that are truly a treasure to cherish and be thankful for.

Prayers for the whole family...

No one can conceive what God has planned for those who love him. I know she is now without pain but pain rests in the hearts of those loved ones who are left behind.

May God grant you peace in this time of suffering.
