New hennry

I always wanted a Hennry could never aford it
went to a D.U. dinner with the wife and she won the gun I always wanted a Hennry 44 mag/spl took it to the range shoots grate but i need a scope eyes are going

Congratulations! I've never won a gun I didn't like. There are few things in life that quite equal that feeling of luck, undeservedness (yes, it's a word, I just made it up), and joy that come with winning anything. Plenty of folks love their Henrys. That solid top receiver should make for easy scoping!

Would love to see a closeup of that stock decoration.

IIRC, Henry has a cantilever scope mount for your rifle, that should screw onto the barrel after the rear sight's removed - look under the rear sight's longleaf for 3-4 plugged prep holes.

the new one have it right on top of the receiver now three holds I order it from a local gun shop should be in very soon

Do you have to register your Henry assault rifle because it holds more than 7 rounds in the magazine?

If you get time off to come back to Texas for a hunt, I will take time off and go. I really enjoyed that hunt. That is a very nice rifle. Congratulations.

I bin trying to get back for over a year when ever i seem to get time i dont have the money and wen i have to money i dont have the time i want to get back there so bad I would love to movethere but the wife dont want to leve the grand son the heck with the daughters now wheni find the time and money i will let you know

Just put a scope on it good for 50 to 75 yards
getting it ready for when I return to Teaxs
