Hard to believe anything can live there.

Remember too, that these pictures were taken recently when there's plenty of spring sunshine. This guy has spent most of his trapping season working in the dark, or near dark. Spring is one of the best seasons of the year in Alaska.

I have to get to Alaska one day. Wow!

Hahaha, I got a kick out of that. You gotta respect wolves."The wolves come by, pee on it [his trap], and keep on going," B III says.
Nice story and pictures. Can't believe the part about knocking his landing gear off on the mountain top, scary.
I also like the way he thanks the fox for giving up his life, very respectful. I've always done the same when hunting dear or elk, silent or otherwise. I've never participated in a high five after killing an animal.
