For you paper shell guys, this is my favorite currently made 12ga. ammo.
(and ‘YES’ it has that unforgettable paper shot shell smell)

Beautiful shotgun. I have had a couple of breech loaders before--Stevens 311A .410ga SxS and a CVA 20ga single. Wish I still had them.

The wood on the buttstock is really beautiful. Also looks like a new pad was fitted to it fairly recently.

I can't count the number of vintage guns, with great wood, I've seen, that have decomposing, falling apart recoil pads. I know it is not an expensive fix, and it has never stopped me from buying somthing. Just one of the things that grabs my attention.

But yours is just splendid.

If I had a few weeks to play with, I would even ask you if I could wak with you once or twice, with my plebian Remington Wingmaster.

Enjoy. I see you bag a few squirrels.

Is that Federal load T117 or T118?

No, I think that recoil pad has been on there a very along long time.
This first picture was the Gun Broker listing picture of what the recoil
pad looked like when I bought it. It was oversized and bottom line ugly looking.
I spent about two + hours very carefully trimming it and cleaning it up.

What she looks like today after plenty of TLC and having the Damascus barrels refinished.

A damascus-barreled Parker and paper shells. Shotgunning just does not get any better than that.

Yep I post on that forum once in a while, not to often though.
